"Skinner" and the rest of the DU senior staff are Democratic Party hacks.  They set the DU site up before the last election in order to help energize the party base and give a voice to the most extreme wingnuts of their party.  In fact, it wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that "Skinner" is none other than Terry McCauliff himself!

They are desperate to win back the seat of power and return to Washington.  They are also, deep in their heart of hearts, total socialists...fellow travelers...that last true vestige of communism left in America.   We're not talking Kennedy or Truman Democrats here...we're talking those Democrats who, like Kerry, are members of the Democratic Socialists of America.  They like to call themselves "progressives" now...but the fact is they are simply regurgitated Reds.   They will do ANYTHING short of murder to win back the power they feel they unjustly lost in 2000...and some there have even advocated that, too.

They really believe that by shading the polls, they can somehow cause the sheeple of the country to vote for Monsieur Kerry.  I hope they are wrong.

The numbers in all of the polls are skewed so far in Kerry's favor as to be totally out of touch with reality.  There is NO way Bush lost last night...and certainly not by the numbers indicated in the online polls.  The pundits recognized that last night and some on Fox actually exposed the poll results as being fakes.  In one case, the MSNBC poll was hit with thousands of voters for Kerry at almost the instant it went up.  Folks were waiting...
