So yesterday.
The ban would also extend to people who whould have to have their hands tatooed with a serial number. No grandfathering of rounds. No reloading. Extra personnel on the borders to not look look for magazines and now ammo. You missed the artical from the CRPA today on Arnold huh? |

Why not just do a Judge Dredd? Have the gun sample your DNA and put it inside each bullet.
DNA tagged bullets - traceable to you. Friggin Kalifornicators.

The new law would be more effective than the full-cap magazine restrictions.. while full-cap mags bought before the ban are allowed, this would make ALL non-branded ammo illegal. So if you're caught with any, it wouldn't be a question of when you got it, the only thing that matters is if you DO.

Under the plan, all ammunition sold in California would have a serial number etched by laser on the bullet and casing. Bullets without such micro-markings, including those from outside the state, would be barred by law, with some exceptions for sport shooters who make their own ammunition.
OK , so Frangible bullets and a revolver , or better yet .... Roll your own

Of course this would work only for new ammo. What happens if someone reloads a spent case that was found on the range floor? How would this identify the culprit if it was used in a crime? Pretty much a waste of time. |

this is only a PROPOSAL, its NOT a bill ....yet, so arnold cant do anything about it this year, or until its written up in bill form and goes through the process to reach his desk to be signed into law.
the whole purpose for this IDEA is to keep GUNS AND AMMO OUT OF KALI, OR if thats not possible then FOR THE STATE TO MAKE MONEY off gun owners and gun/ ammo companies, .........just like every other gun law in kali. follow the money trail |

I have seen more posts about, "well, it won't affect us", "We just live our lives out here". What a bunch of  . Sounds like a bunch of you are just chicken to actually do anything about saving your rights. 50 Caliber ban, assault weapon ban, 10 round closed magazine AR's, 10 round magazines, the list goes on and on. California people  to California ultra liberals.And you "cops" just follow what you are told and it sure does seem like you could care less for the citizens who pay your wages. You don't uphold any real rights, unless they are for queers, pedophiles or rapists. Yeah, I bet you cops deal with more actual human scum in a month than most of us do in a lifetime. But that no excuse why the police agencies that actually support the Constitution and Bill of Rights, don't stand up and say we are not enforcing these obvious UnConstitutional laws. As a general rule, California cops just sound like a bunch of Nazi Jack Boot Thugs to me. Sgatr15, from what I have read from you, I would even bet that you would bust someone for owning and unregistared assault weapon, if you haven't already.
