It's the most screwed up forum I have ever seen. They would have alot more members, me being one if they went to a AR-15 style board.

Yes. Absolutely.
Freepers has absolutely NO logic or reason in its layout. Just TRY to find a thread you saw earlier in the day. Never gonna happen unless you "tagged" it by posting in it. The search function SUCKS - way too many irrelevant hits. The posting of original threads is utterly tedious in how many text boxes that need to be filled. And it's CLEARLY not intended for original writings, more like C&P an article then add your comments after it. And the confusing mishmash of "Forums", "Topics", "Latest Posts", "Latest Articles" and "Banglists" - it's like it was designed by some frickin United Nations SubCommittee. There is NO way to follow a train of discussion in a thread. The fact that it relies entirely on HTML for posting is so fricking stupid! And last but not least - no way to edit your post. SO... if you make a mistake in HTMLcoding your reply - you're SOL. In short - it sucks BIG TIME. That's why I rarely post there. |
