You have to put a new sight base on or you can get a slip on lug.

Duct tape!
 OR you can get a new FSB w/ lug attached, have the barrel threaded for a flash hider. somebody makes a bayo lug adapter for the 16" carbines, but I don't know who.

That is where I turned, and learned a LOT about my rifle. You can mount a bayonet lug a few different ways, and several companies make accesories for this purpose. Good luck, and post pics! |
