A former coworker had a pet chicken. Hell, it lived in the house with him! yeeekkk

Never trust someone who has a pet chicken.

One day he came to work with a red eye. It pecked him in the eyeball and hit the contact lense. "I gotta' get rid of the chicken now."

"Gonna' have chicken and dumplings for supper?"

"No. I'm going to find a good home for it."

Fuck that shit. I'd be having fried chicken. "No. I am God."

They are beautiful. I have always been partial to lizards of any kind. I had an iguana years ago, and still catch myself eyeing up the lizards when I think about a new pet.

Just WOW! Beautiful. I wish I had 2500 bucks.

Actually, the hybrids - where they breed Servals with domestic cats -  are brutally expensive.  Called 'Savannah Cats', a 50% hybrid female goes for $6k-$10k.  It is silly.  We may need to go with a 75% instead of a full Serval to get around some 'wild animal' laws where I live, but plan to breed her once to recoup our outlay.

Strange... the hybrid costs 4x that of a full Serval.
