Comment: In both WWI and WWII the American Government fought on the side of the Communists. Despite the "cold war" that followed, the goals of the communists were steadfastly imposed upon the American people. As Americans (the Protectors of the Constitution), we must ask ourselves...

"What kind of leaders have we elected?"
"How could it be that Americans have so blindly followed corrupt politicians?"
"How can Americans even assume that we are still a free people?"

Before posting this again please review the source of the list, then read up a little on the book it was taken from and what his position in the world is. This just proves that people in 1961 were just as paranoid as they are now, this list was propaganda to reinfoce the legitamacy of McCarthyism.

I understand it is a 40 year old document. Read the parts I highlighted in my 2nd quote in red and tell me that this is not happening/in progress/being tried.

I think to some degree it has/is going on, but a liberal media bias does not exactly equate to a communist plot. We need to be vigilant, but to use a forty year old propaganda piece as proof of anything is not beneficial to any cause. That is what "The Naked Communist" was. I don't like the thought of what is going on in a lot of the House Committee on Un-American Activities trials. This list was made to order to stoke the fires of fear in the people of the early sixties, notice how it goes on about destroying religion, and promoting civil rights causes, it threatens the taking over of our great institutions and supplanting thier powers to social agencies, wich had already been done years before. Refering to FBI shills and thier message is not a good place to begin proving a conspiracy. The communists are still a plague on this nation, no doubt about it, but they are making far more strides in teh guise of openly admitted socialism rather than cloak and dagger conspiracy that this list is supposed to make us aware of.

Just about everything on that list is a vague reference that can't be proven or disproven, that is what makes it grab peoples attention, the list calls for enactments of general ideas, not specific actions. How do you prove someone has taken control of the Media? How do you prove they have Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions? The Du claims that the media is grossly biased towards the right. I think that the media is overwhelmingly socialist, and that needs correcting. My point is that if we are ever going to do anything about it, we need to work at identifying things as they are today, we need to discover exactly where the influence is the most effective and work on correcting that. I myself can not stand what McCarthy and his crew of goons did, while thier intentions were good, they lost site of what they were doing and became what they were sworn to fight against, and I will not resort to recycling thier propaganda as some kind of holy manifest, as it reeks of facism as badly as it rails against communism.
