My 13 yo golden retriever loves it. Seems to prefer imported vs domestic. My wife will only let me give him a few sips, saying I will kill him with it. After a couple of laps, he just sits there, sad, wanting more. |
Mine never liked beer, she loves starbuck frappuccino and double shots though.

Yup. He's a 9 year old black lab. My dad made the mistake of giving him a taste when he was a puppy and he's been hooked since. He'll corner me when he sees my bottle is getting empty, and he'll even steal my beer if I leave it on a low enough table. Drunk-ass dog.

... smart doggie |
Naaah, Phred only likes those fruity mandarin orange and vodka drinks. Wacky dog, get a few in him and he'll yack about aposable thumbs for hours.

My dad and I gave our little dog beer one night she got drunk and ran into the table then she stood on the back of the couch and fell off the back of it... She's never been able to drink again even when we did offer it to her. But on the other hand we haven't given our black lab any yet but I don't want to because he may go apeshit lol

We used to pour a little whiskey into a bowl and our beagle would sit and bark and howl at it . He never tried it but was hilarious to watch.

Nothing funnier than watching a guest set down their frosty mug and seeing our 105-lb Shepherd stick his snoot all the way in it.
Loves it. |
Try making him smell nail polish remover. My dog goes apesh*t when my mom used to make him sniff it. Haha. |
I gave my cousins dogs, beer, really cheap beer.
I also gave his chow Cisco, Md 20/20, and Kessler Whiskey |
My dog will not drink beer, or JD for that matter either. Tried.
bad idea, dogs have way more sensitive livers than us so you can seriously screw up the dog
Most of my dogs used to like it alot. Had a collie mix that would steal beer and strawberries out of the garden.
The dog my family used to have loved beer. She'd even try to knock cans out of your hand so that she could get it when it spilled on the ground.

When umm drunk, we fed my mate's dog beer and vodka. Didnt do anything to it.
One of my lady friends had people feed her dog beer at a party and it thre up |
Hell, we gave my friend's deaf n' blind terrier half a beer... he was down for the count... and he loved it.
That was the ONLY time i saw him wag his tail. He died a few months and one six-pack later. We made sure to give him no more than half a beer in a night, but boy did he go nuts, despite lack of vision. - BG |

Animal abusing son of a bitch. That's really fucking funny. Feeding animals intoxicants is wrong. Mother fucker!
My 10 year old yellow lab LOVES beer. He'll sit ever so patiently while I down a bottle, waiting and watching for me to hit the last mouthfull, then he makes a bee line over for his share.
I used to have a pit bull that would come by the table and knock a beer over so he could lap up what he spilled.
The funny thing was if you put it in his bowl, he wouldn't drink it. He'd sniff it and walk away. He only liked stolen beer. Oh, and stolen jack and coke as well (he actually came by the table one night and started drinking out of my rocks glass. Never seen a dog that liked mixed drinks as well. |
Dog likes beer but my horse will go out of his way to get to one. If you leave a can sitting somewhere he goes over to try to drink it. Funny as hell! The wifes horse prefers bourbon.
This is disgusting!
Fucking heathens! You hunt animals - good. You use animals for food - also good You use animal by-products for shelter, etc. - great Abusing animals = fucking wrong. |
My friends Beagle is a beer hound. You can't set one down without her sneaking over & sticking her tongue in it.
Um, they are getting a small taste of beer etc. It's not like anyone is schticking it in their pooper and posting pics. Sheesh! |
2wp, you're a smart guy, don;t fool youreslf into thinking this is all about a "sip" of beer. I've always bitched about feeding animals alcohol. That REALLY pisses me off. |

My dog loves beer and he's not picky. I take him out on the boat in the summer and everyone is on the beach drinking beer and I end up tieing him to the bow and he figured out that people leave a little beer in the bottom of the can. He picks up the can and tips his head back to get the last little bit out. He does tricks for a little beer. Although I never let him drink much. He gets an attitude or something wants to kick everyones ass. Just jokeing.

POSTING PICS WOULD BE WRONG!!! |

My dog gets drunk when he comes home and slaps me around, hes a mighty angry drunk.
My dog eats SOAP, loves it! doubt i'd have any trouble getting him to drink a beer but haven't given him any.

Alcohol and pitbulls dont mix. |

As a kid, I lived in a small town that yearly had what the locals called "Beerfest", outsiders know it as Germanfest.
My pug, Fred, got out during Beerfest one year. We found him at the park enjoying brats, beer, and margaritas. My brother carried him home; Fred didn't even try to walk it. sgt_seti |

Maybe, but have you ever tried telling a pit bull he cant have a beer? |
Two of my dogs will drink it; the others won't. The dogs that will drink beer are both females, one a Black Lab and the other a Lab mix. I only let them have a few drops from the bottle after I have finished.
I don't drink very often anymore, though. |

Yep, my little yappy dog has tried-and obviously likes-Michelob, Bud Light, rum & coke and Boodles & tonic.
Sin_Bin: Fuck off and die. Seems most people here have only given their pets a taste of alcohol, like I have. It's not part of their diet. Go back to the |

I have a gelding I share my beer with. His mom is a baptist, and won't drink at all. |

My dog loved beer. I kept finding beer bottles on my back porch and lawn, and I just thought they were rolling out of the recycle bins. One night, while surfing arfcom, I could hear a little "tinking" noise coming from out back, and I found that my dog was pulling the bottles out of the bin and rolling them around to get the last drops out.....
