Judging by the angle and the cloud hanging in the sky, the storm is not right over that house. It is most likely just a line sight coincidence. The scan lines may be creating that "strike" illusion. Just my opinion. |

Good shot!
Coming right at sundown, it looked to me to have tornadoes or hail in it. The clouds were darker than I'd seen in some time, but that was simply because i was starting to get dark anyway. Knowing that, I then figured it was just lightning, thunder and rain.

What better time to shoot in the garage than in the middle of a thunderstorm when no one will notice the difference.
 Actually, just my dog's collar. He was in the garage and was actually quite calm and unimpressed by the whole thing. |

I can truly say that thunderstorms in Texas are among the most terrifyingly beautiful of any, anywhere on earth.
