Well I got to take care of the shit jobs again, as usual, this time I had to rebuild a incline conveyor, side guards, drop pan, fabricate new bracketts, crap like that..

Well anyway, there were 2 old bracketts still attached to the machine I was working on, they should have been removed by the guy who installed the new film feed, but NOOOOOOO they did not....

SO there I was, on my knee, under the incline conveyor, taking measurements for new bracketts, and I turn and BAM, I dropped back down to ground, blood pouring over my eyes, I mean this bleed like a stuck pig....

Well here it is, ENJOY....

I am fine, my head hurts, got knocked silly for a few seconds, but I should be fine, I hope

Yup, been there, OUCH, I had to have 18 stitchs eye to eye, right over the bridge of the nose...

You see, I was a young kid, around 7 and was trying to impress the girl next door, and I was walking on a swingset, you know the top bar that all the swings hang from, ya that one, and I fell and busted my head wide open..

That was cool........

I can't beleive they don't make you wear a hard hat. Even if you are a welder they got hardhat welding hoods.  Even at our small company when your in an industrial envirionment its hard hat safety glasses leather shoes, steel toe preferable and hearing protection.

My partner slammed the trunk lid of  a Crown Vic down on my head and the corner of it hit squarely on top as I was retrieving some gear in preparation to go serve some  medium risk warrants...my knees buckled a little bit...vision went a little dim but I was ok...until they put that staple in to hold it together at the hospiptal.

oh yeah, lots of blood...lots of it.

I didn't get to kick in any doors that afternoon, but I did get to spend some quality time in the local ER with a couple of cute nurses fussing over me...
