there is a live debate going on right now and the AWB came up, DeMint (R) said
"i didn't support the AWB and I won't support any gun ban, as they infringe on our 2nd ammendment rights and have been proven ineffective. In fact, in these times of terrorism I would like for my neighbors and those around me to be lawfully armed and able to defend themselves"

Yeah, wierd things happening here. The ONLY race people seem to care about here is senate. Both sides out for blood. Thune needs the funds to go against Daschle. The "dump daschle" campaign (google it) has done much, but needs to do more. (kind of like the Swifties and Kerry). |

Yeah, I am proud as hell of Daschle... NOT! Thune, however: YEP! He is about as pro-2nd as you can get. Only the small matter of getting him elected....
