Lesbianism and bisexuality in women is not nearly as taboo as in men. I see a lot of women kiss eachother, hug eachother, say things like "you're so pretty" "she's so gorgeous" - shades of latent bisexuality. After all, women do have both the XY chromosomes, whereas men only have YY.
So, any biological theories to support this. And is seeing women make out (HOT women that is) appealing to the male eye?

Most women would eventually admit that other women are beautiful, etc...
My wife is as hetero as it comes but she says that other women are beautiful, but she says knows that only a man could ever satisfy her. |

My experience is that it creeps most women out to think of going down on another woman. Yeah, our culture gives them some latitude in the touchy-feely dep't, but that only goes so far.
Most of the girl-on-girl stuff is a myth promoted by the pron industry. |

I think it's popular because you can make money at it. I kind of doubt most of these people are "bisexual". They're just doing it for money. I guess it's just my sense of morality, but I think ANY women kissing, etc. is disgusting. Also, just because a girl says another girl is beautiful or whatever does not make them bisexual. C'mon, admit it, some of you guys have seen other guys and thought that they looked good. It's just not in a sexual way. It's like saying, "Wow, that's a nice gun" or "Ooh, nice painting". Women might just be less ashamed to say it. |

I think women's sexual responses are linked to their emotional needs being met, and since most women are better able to satisfy other women in the touchy-feely department, more so than men, therefore...

Academic factuality = I've read several researchers' findings that emphasize a tedancy towards gay relationships among women that can be influenced by men (in other words; led away from). |

I would say that more women are bi than admit it. Just take the right girl ot margarita to bring it out. I have havetold the mrs a coupleof her friends were bi... lo and behold.... they eventually tried it. Girl on girl isnot that taboo....and is also the #1 fantasy for both genders.

If you were to plot men's sexuality on a graph, it would look like a U, with men either solidly in the "hetero" or "homo" categories, and very very few people anywhere in the middle. If 1 were Hetero and 10 were Homo, it would look like:
