After reading Old Painless' post about his $391 rifle (very nice indeed) and him saying that people complain that not enough "gun topics" are posted in GD I realized I'm one of those complainers....

So here is a gun topic I thought would be very intereting..... Being that this is AR15.com, how many people OWN an AR15?  I would imagine most, but I will also venture to say that there is quite a few who do not.....So here is your chance, FESS UP!!

Oh yeah, I suppose if you are issued one at work that will qualify

and yes, I own one. In fact just put a new "evil-once-forbidden" stock on it tonight. (thanks RBPrecision-excellent service!)

Seems odd to me people would hang out on *this* site and not own one... unles they had to hock it or something.

No, I do not own or possess an AR15.  I will soon, assuming that there aren't any dragons waiting around the corner preparing to eat my money.

BTW, that was a fine assembly of freemans tool Master Chief. My condolences

Why does everyone always end up denying the possession of an AR15 in posts like this?

I cannot speak for "everyone", but at least in my case, it is the truth.

It is illegal to own an AR15 in the state of NJ. Now if you mean AR types that is a different story.

Hah! Just as I suspected....your posting privlages shall be suspended until you go out and buy yourself an upper!  Make sure it has an evil bayonet lug on it!

Has anyone seen the latest ad campaign in FMG magazines (GUNS, American Handgunner, etc)?  Pretty nice. I like.
