Is anyone already or soon going to distribute AK's in 5.45 with threaded barrel and 74 brake?  All I have been able to find are leftover post-bans at elvated prices.  Is their anything with these 2 features in the $300-400 range available now or soon to be available?  If I have to spend 600+ on an AK I may as well buy an AR as I can get an AR here for about 650.

The 1989 Import Ban is a far different thing than the 1994 AWB ban.

About the only folks I can think of are Robinson Armaments but I also think they're outside the $400 mark (probably closer to $550-$600 NIB). I'm actually fighting the urge to add a RobArm AK to the collection now that they're cranking out folders....

That can be easily changed in about $50 or less in American parts...

Do pin on 74 brakes stay on and work well.  Should I buy a screw on threaded adaptor ( SksMan ) and will it work on a SAR 2 or Wasr in 5.45.  I have noticed the barrel thicknesses seem to varie even in the same calibre.
