Unfortunately, the weather for later next week or so is NOT looking good. We had almost 3" rain this morning to boot. Check the GS forum for a link I put up to the NWS. Looks like C&L got me in one pic walking up to TJ with the bandage still on my leg from my motorcycle accident. Ugh.

Campy, you have NO idea....

I was there at BF, and if you think THAT'S bad, you need to come down here for a real storm. It's not rain so much as a waterfall at times....

You had to be there!!! Also, Texas mud is a completely different animal than Ohio mud. It sticks to your feet and after just a few steps you have about 5 pounds of mud firmly attached to each foot. I bought boots last year at Gunstock out of necessity and cleaned them as best I could in the hotel bathtub before packing them for the trip home. The next time I used them was at Bulletfest. Again, they were cleaned up when I got home. There is still some Texas mud on those boots!!!!! Note the big clumps of mud on the feet of those guys at the short range.....

Good times....!

I was there at BF, and if you think THAT'S bad, you need to come down here for a real storm. It's not rain so much as a waterfall at times....

I was at both.

Gunstock last year and BulletFest V this year.

Wet/muddy/rain: Gunstock got more.

Able to deal with it?: BulletFest V hands down. As much rain, more wind, but tractors and stuff us midwesterners call "grass/CRP/Non-bare dirt" to keep the mud down.

Pretty damn far.

brassmobile is definately a no-go. Starting a new job the week before, definately can't ask for time off the first week.
