While I'm not easily offended, I dont come here to "Ed's house" to see all gross porn, there are sights for that. Same goes for bitchin' sessions. Some people have a low threshold before popping a cork. To an outsider, it must look bad that firearms are owned by some of us in here? I believe in freedom too, but dont need my face rubbed in it, to show it can be abused. I vented, now moving onwards... (*_*)

I agree with SILVER SURFER that maybe the site just isn't for you.  People CHOOSE to voluntarily hang out here because they feel it is worth it despite the sometime poor or tasteless tone that can raise its ugly head on occasion.  If you don't like it, go elsewhere - or just avoid the GD forum and enjoy the wealth of information this site offers.  But I'm not sure we need the reincarnation of Tipper Gore here to tell us what is "proper" and what isn't.

I'm happy for you that you are convinced that your children are little angels when you aren't looking, but I fail to see the connection you are trying to make.  This is a completely voluntary site with mostly adults posting (I'm guessing a little here), and eveyone can take responsibility for their own choices and actions.  

Just my opinion - worth what you paid for it.
