[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Calling all ARF.COM doctors, I got hit in the head, should I seek medical help?

Yeah, so long story short I took a softball to the back left of the head the other night. Ball was thrown from about 30 feet away as I was running to first, hit me in the head, knocked me down. I am 5'10" 190, not an easy person to knock over and this shit leveled me.

No blurred vision, pupil response seems normal. Lump on head has gone down quite a bit. I have a pretty good headache, prolly from working out. I know stupid. But the thing that is most sore is the left side of my neck. Should I bother to go to the doctor?

IM no doc but i am an EMT, if you lost conciousnes or are having any type of syptoms or start, i would get checked out

I would take a couple of advil and write it offf as a learning experience

Hey it was a SOFTBALL fer christs sake just think what would have happened if it had been a HARDBALL!
