theyre air force, what do you expect.....course if they were marines it'd be eyes front, cause you know they are goin home w/ you....course, if they were Navy, they'd be lookin @ each other...AK

In the late 1980's when I was in Korea the Cowboy Cheerleaders visited some of the installations over there. I served on one of the radar sites, the Army flew them around to different places and they made a stop to visit us. The girls gave us autographed pictures, they were very nice.

Not if they were from 8th and I.

The official AF Honor Guard in DC doesn't exactly have a reputation for posessing the greatest amount of ceremonial bearing. But in this case, I think that exceptions would definitely be made.

Yeah I went to Camp Schwab in Okinawa on an escort with a fat ugly female once and the marines there just about fell over trying to talk to the thing. ABSOLUTEY NO bearing what so ever. Very sad, to be that desperate.

Maybe things have changed since I served with this unit from 86-88. Believe me these two guys will hear about their lack of "bearing" when this photo circulates back to the drill team OIC. Beautiful women or not, the drill team is suppose to be the "best" of the Honor Guard unit. There should be no exceptions. These two obviously forgot that. And by the way Stillie, I've seen or I should say "heard" a lack of bearing by members of the 8th and I too. Like the two clowns whispering back and forth to each other while standing at attention during a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown. Total disrespect.

Here's a picture from that ceremony. The Marines are to the right. (Left in the photo) Although you don't see the two talking from this photo I definitely listen to them bitch about how cold it was that day. By the way I'm the second Airman from the left.
