I think all the Thermolds are OK it's the orlites that have problems.

Both? Yes. I've got 3 Bushy and just sold my 31 Thermolds, which were a 49/51% mix of 22H & 21H |

I decided to cash out before the Sunset and replace with USGI instead. I like the thermolds, but trust the USGI a bit more. |

You just file away a little of the extra grove on the magazine and it will fit. No big deal. Just avoid used ones where some ninny ground the whole grove down. |

Man, there are alot of AR 'Urban legends' being posted. BOTH Thermolds and Orilites will fit into your rifle (with some modifications if they don't).
I had both '21' and '22' marked Thermolds and both types fit no problem. If the mags don't fit, then lock the bolt back, slap a mag in and cycle the bolt a few times. This will shave off the excess feed lips keeping your mag from locking in. |
