Where is the best place to buy Gun Safes from?  I would like to know what your opinions are about who has the best prices?  Any input would be appreciated!!

Ask your local transfer dealers (FFL'S).  I talked to a couple and they told me about a farmer that sold Liberty safes as an additional income.  He keeps 15-20 in inventory and was $200-$400 lower than a chain store.  Did I mention that he delivered and helped move it in downstairs?

If you are looking for used, check with local delivery companies and safe. lock & key companies.  They will occaisionally get used safes because somebody doesn't want to move it.

Just ordered a Winchester/Granite safe with curbside delivery from Sam's Club online (they take Visa). They beat all of the local offerings by several hundred dollars. The local retailers wanted to charge $100+ for delivery in addition to their already high prices. While that's not at all unreasonable for delivery, the fact that they didn't advertise it as part of their already high price was irritating. I bought a furniture hand truck instead.
If you have easy access from your basement to your curb, I'd consider Sam's. If not, go with a local who has the equipment to move it.
