I see news footage of our military going on patrols in the cities and towns in Iraq and Afghanastan and it made me wonder.  Where do these guys hunker down if "that pain" hits them out there?  In the non-urban environment you can just drop trou' and leave a steaming pile anywhere you want to as long as it isn't on a trail, but in the urban setting you have people looking at you and windows everywhere with BGs behind them. What's the protocol for "un-feeding yourself"?

Find a corner while your patrol covers for you.

Never really thought about it.  Whenever we did patrols in the city, we'd be back to our staging area before anyone felt the urge to blow mud.

We did water the grass on a few ocassions, however.  You just take a knee, unbutton your BDU trousers and let the stream go.

No big deal.
