Earlier this evening there was a man in my neck of the woods pulling John Kerry signs from the roadway.  Now, given everything going on you would think people would be pissed off and yelling at him, right?  Nope.  People were cheering him on.  Yelling "4 more years" and "tear it up".

Amazing...

He was acting in a way towards the signs that was reminiscent of Genghis Khan...

In VA, it's illegal to post the signs on public property. I'm not sure the legality of taking them down, though.

Either way, it's pretty damn pathetic that people would do this type of shit.

then they whine and cry when it happens to them.

If they are on the county right of way, then no it was not pathetic of him to be pulling them up.

In a country that celebrates free speech, it is our duty as Americans to allow people to have their say even when we disagree with them. In fact, especially when we disagree with them.

Leave the signs alone.

[gangster voice] I would have put a cap in his ass [/gangster voice]

No, seriously, I would have not done a damn thing.  Exactly what I did with this guy.  Is it really worth getting into fisticuffs with someone over a freaking sign?  He wants the sign, let him have the sign.  Maybe he will sleep better tonight with it.  Who knows.  I was only relaying some entertaining information to the board.

thats dead wrong.

leave the signs alone.

If you believe in our form of government,
if you believe in our culture, and you believe
America is the best country in the world.
Then nobody would do such a thing.

I think Kerry and all his Leftist idiots are
vile.  But thats my personal opinion. And
so long as the bill of rights remain in place,...
Im entitled to it.

Apparantly, the Left thinks bush is vile.

But ripping signs out is wrong.

It wont change anybodys opinion by
removing them.  But it just may sway
some voters who see such activity as
"mean-spirited" and vote the other way.

Besides,..I would hope nobody would vote
the future of the country away based on
a sign?

I had a corner lot that had the fence (not the property line) 15 ft. in from the sidewalk.  All kinds of signs were posted there without asking.  I removed all signs.  Did the signs being removed have approval of the property owner?

I was told a long time ago that political signs couldn't be vandilized or messed with, unless of course they were yours on your own property.

Watermelon?  Mattress tags?

All of the sudden I'm supposed to be a fucking political lawyer.
