In this matrix can you solve it using addition?

[A]
[   2     1   ]
      [   2     3   ]

+

[C]  [  0  1  ]

Find:   [A] + [C]

can you add those?

do you have a graphing calculator?

those things solve matrix problems.
thats why they are recommended in your syllabus.

No

To add matrixies they have to be dementionaly equivelent. for example a 3x3 matrix + another 3x3 matrix not a 2x2 and a 1x2 like you got there. Now you could multiply those two.

No. You can multiply matrices of different dimension, though. [[2 1][2 3]] * [0 1] = [1 3]

That's different from the short bus you rode to school.

I really wish I had taken some advanced matrix algebra classes as an undergrad.  They would have made grad school much easier.

Try doing MANOVA analyses by hand, using matrix algebra - then you really appreciate stats packages like SAS and SPSS

Thanks! That is what I thought but I wanted to make sure.

Math, IMO, is the best subject and more the better! and the same for Science!
