Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - got a question about a pistol AR with a carbine buffer.

i plan to build an AR pistol.  i have a virgin lower with factory paper that says it has never bean a rifle.  so i think i am cool.
can i use a carbine buffer tube (w/o stock) if i install something like an uncle mikes sling swivel or do i have to install something like a half sphere so i can't possibly put it in my shoulder
