I can eat soup without crackers, but it is kind of like dry firing a gun, you know that it is almost the same, you know it is wrong, but some times you gotta do what you gotta do.

I believe the proper phrase is
"Crackers with Soup?" The previous statement implied pouring soup over crackers.

Crackers are OK, but if it is chicken noodle, grilled cheese is better, and chili has to have peanut butter sandwiches!

I only eat crackers with my soup if the soup is tomato soup. I also eat crackers with V8. V8 also goes well with celery sticks and Tabasco.

Chili is also Good with Frito's , I like it with cornbread too , cornbread with Ham & Beans is Pretty Yummy

Chili with Fritos. I don't know about other states, but in Texas, that there what you mentioned is called a Frito PIE. You get some Fritos, put chilli and goops of melted cheese on top. You can add some sliced jalapenos as I do. |
