You would have to get their social security number, and then get in touch with a locator. Sometimes calling a local base (each base has it's own telephone system, complete with operators) is the best place to start. MOST OFTEN, if you are not directly related, i.e. sister, brother, mother, father, grandparents, they will not release the info to you. It helps protect us from people who like to try and take what little money we get paid. If you can provide the locator a SSN, then they may be able to help you more.
