Intended use/target/range? .243 WSSM is good on a variety of things easily to 300. |

The .243 WSSM lets loose with much higher velocity than the 6.5 Grendel.
Advantage is power. Disadvantage is magazine capacity and barrel life. .243 is great for small to medium size game. (55 to 100gr bullet loadings available from Winchester) _________________ The 6.5 Grendel has heavier and higher BC bullets available Advantage is long range performance. For target shooting accuracy the 6.5 is also a winner. Heavy 6.5 bullets (144gr from AA) with high penetration can be used on medium-large game while lighter bullets (109 to 123 gr available from AA) can be used on small to medium game. |
