Isnt the cost of living very high in Cali? I mean, rent around my area for a 2 bedroom apartment would be between $700 and $900/month. Whats it cost in cali? $50-60K/year in my area is pretty decent.

CA is VERY expensive. My room in a house was 850 a month, plus evertything else. I needed at least 1500 a month to cover everything.
