Hope it's not a dupe.  Let me know if it is.

"BAGHDAD, Iraq - Two Italian and two Iraqi aid workers kidnapped this month in Iraq were freed Tuesday after three weeks in captivity, Italy’s prime minister said. All six Egyptian workers who were abducted last week were also freed, Egyptian television reported.

The release of the Italians, Simona Pari and Simona Torretta, ended a drama that riveted Italy, where some feared the worst after Web statements last week claimed that the women had been killed. While the Italians were being held, other kidnappers beheaded two U.S. hostages."

"A Kuwaiti newspaper reported that the women’s captors had agreed to free them for $1 million ransom. The government in Rome would not comment."

Makes me wonder.   -    $1,000,000 will buy a lot of RPG's and AK's.
