Very interesting. It looks like Barrett is setting the quality specs but won't announce to the public that AA is actually making the product. I hope they keep tight control over AA. (red text in email)

Dear Mr. [happyshooter],

American Ammunition has published a press release on their web site. Barrett has no comment currently on that press release. Please be advised that Barrett will market 6.8 SPC ammunition manufactured to Barrett specifications. The loading will be a cost effective cartridge to provide inexpensive “shooting” ammunition for the 6.8 Barrett M468.

Dear Sir:

I have lusted after your products for a long time, and I am saving part of my fun money to buy one.

I am also saving money for a 6.8 upper.

I just read that you ordered 6 million some odd 6.8 rounds from American Ammunition for some product. To be quite blunt, "Why?!?"

I think that wolf has better QC, and makes a better product. I think just about anyone else domestic makes a prosuct that is 100% better. In fact, unless you have a massively good reason to share with us in the shooting community, I would never buy an American Ammunition product.
