John Miller is not a sworn officer "cop." He is a notoroius LE Buff and appointed Executive who was probably carrying on a permit.

Now i'm not sure about this. But last i checked the only people that can have guns in their carry on's are air marshalls, and police officers with signed statements from their depts that its necessary. and what it leaves out is those signed statements require FAA approval.

Federal agents can carry on planes as well but, as always, the final say is up to the pilot. |

Wonderful. Now, if it were me at LAX with a box of ammo I forgot to take out of my backpack, I'd be detained, strip searched, arrested, and I'd still be in jail right now. It seems to me that before our government adds new gun laws to the books, they need to enforce the ones that they have now.
