When things get quite or relaxed I hear stuff I normally dont.

At work its static in my headset.
I always hear ringing when I try to sleep also

Today it was also water hitting something

Anyone else hear stuff like this?

It gets annoying to me

I used to have the same thing, since I sleep druing the day. People would call for stupid stuff, to see what I was doing, or ask something like where is the Labor Dept at.

Now I leave it off, unless expecting something really important

I always hear loud ringing. It only gets worse when its quiet or when I'm drinking.

When I'm relaxed in a quiet house at 4:30 in the morning not able to sleep....

I hear things like distant music or people talking. Of course, there's no music playing anywhere, or people talking, I just hear it...

Relaxed in noisy areas I almost always hear my cell-phone ringing. Probably because I'm expecting it to ring in those situations, and damned if 90% of the time it's NOT ringing.
