I have used a chinese knock off PAQ4 I got for 100$, with a PVS14 it worked great and has even held a zero for 200 rds. It is not totally in the infared spectrum though, at night you can see a faint glow coming from it which sucks big time. I have a real PEQ6 and it seems to be just a little worse than that, though I am sure it will crap out alot sooner, but hey what can you expect for 100$?
