One of my friends told me that and he actually makes a good point, I always have a group that I hang out with. Big parties just make me nervous. I have to force myself to go out, I don't want to go but I do and have a good time.

I seriously think I am messed up.  Its like I know I should go out drinking with the guys but I have to force myself

no not like that plus the big crowds would probably be  a turn off.

I don't like crowds and I'm definitely antisocial.  Doesn't bother me at all.

However, the DFW crew are a fine bunch of gentlemen and I have enjoyed hanging out with them so far.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...

There's worse things to be than anti-social. At least you're not annoying.

You're not annoying are you?

dont get me wrong I will start talking with people, i am not reserved at all. I usually am the one making jokes and bs'ing with people.

its just I like my house, I don't go out partying as much as I should. And I dont minda hanging out a home with a few friends. My old girl friend really hated that, because she thought if its saturday night you have to GO OUT.

Other people are for the most part, crazy and/or stupid.

Of course, they all probably say that about me.

You dont have to go out on the town on Sat night to have a good time , I lived in a small house out in the country about 20 minutes from where I worked ,  worked 3-11, and  would go home to change cloths and think about going to one of the local pubs , several time's during the week, when I got home ,some of my friends had already dropped by  to have a beer or two and somehow a party had started without me, I have actually walked into my house and have had more than one person ask me who I was ??  I'd just shake my head and go get myself a Beer !! Nothing Wrong with Staying at Home

I moved from my home town 850 miles to another State and I know zero people here, just me and my cat.

I hate crowds. It's not that I hate people exactly, I just hate lots of people all around me. Once I get out of college and get everything squared away, it's the country life for me.

if you're happy with the way you are, who cares????If not, you may have to work on your communication skills. I can usually go to a party and find something in common to talk about. Sports, jobs, where you live, where you grew up, common interests (guns, motorcycles) are all conversation topics. When the family across the street were building their new house, I went over and introduced myself. I had them over for coffee later and Randy saw some Masonic items in the family room. He said he always wanted to join, but didn't know any Masons, and didn't know how to go about joining. About a year later (and once i got to know him) I was a signer on his petition. Now he's joined my lodge, we go motorcycling, and he also hunts. Sometimes you have to be a little outgoing. To have a friend, be a friend...

Anti-social is fun. People never know when you are going to get a 30-06 and look for a bell tower.
