I wish I could get out of here and go home or something.  This weekend I sat around my house looking for stuff to do thinking "I'll be gald Sunday so I can atleast go to work".

I spent 3 hours helping deliver doughnuts for free to get me out of the house.

Is this strange?

Volunteer to do EMT work on an ambulance.  It only takes one semester to become EMT Basic certified and you see and do some wild ass things.

Not much $ paid to EMT-B's.  But you gain some great experiences.  If you volunteer, you shouldn't be obligated with certain hours.  You just call ahead after you get your work schedule and let the supervisor know when you're available.  Quite simple and very rewarding.

How would you feel saving someone's life or delivering a baby?  Pretty shit-hot I bet.  I love doing that work.

Check into it.

Gun shot wounds, stabbings, heart attacks, vehicle accidents, everything bad that happens in your area, you get to provide assistance.

Stuff like that you remember forever.

That's the problem with "projects"
They cost money, so you work overtime to pay for them.
More time at work means less time for your project.
So you take time for your project, then need more money....

Vicious freakin circle.
