The bayonet was made by the Bauer Ordnance Co. Detroit. Probably 1960's or 70's.

The scabbard was made by The Working Home For the Blind, Philadelphia. (Phila. Working Home).

There are several good books out there.

When I was collecting, my favorites were : "U.S. Military Knives volume III and IV" by M.H. Cole.
These are the standards, although there are several newer authors publishing.
There are also one or two books JUST on bayonets.
