I had two good Fall rides 40 miles yesterday and 50 miles today. Weather no wind yesterday temp was
75 degrees. South wind at 15 mph today temp was 78.  I do like the temp to be at 68-70 ideally.
They're harvesting Soybeans, and the leaves are starting to turn, which means a limited number of weeks until it gets cold.
Also what is your ride.

I went about 30 miles yesterday - and did nothing today

It can still get pretty warm here (St. Louis), and the leaves have not really started to turn yet in a serious way.

I did about 50 miles of sweet wooded singletrack Thursday afternoon.  My mountain bike these days has a motor on it and footpegs instead of peddles though .

It's a sweet time of year for a ride, nomatter what kind of pony you're on.

Yep, did my usual loop through the county park, then to the bank and home. It's an easy 20 minutes at an 80% flat out pace.

I rode Friday and hit some hills that I had underestimated. I blew my legs up and cut the ride real short.

Screwed around with a couple 30 mile rides; there was about 2K feet of climbing
on each. I'm sitting aorund eating ice cream and reading the net after the last one.
Nothing very intense, just a day out.

I get off work at 6:00(weekdays) , 35 minute drive home, if I run to put on shorts and Bike shoes I can only get 20 minutes on the bike before it is too dark. 20 minutes at 80% is just enough.
Another week and I won't get that.
