My 401K cratered, the company I work for has no real pension plan, I'm 52 YO and might live longer than I expected.

This is scary.

I feel like a boxer down on points, entering round 15 and know I have to win by a knockout.

Should I write a book of just stop taking my Zocor?

Would any of you guys REALLY buy it?

And I'll buy a copy in the next third of a second.

I've enjoyed your stories here for a very long time.

Just make sure that when you do write the book, to include some of those classic seeing eye cat pictures.  Hey.... sometimes all those words are hard to take.

Pic I have always enjoyed reading your stories.  A book would be even more enjoyable me thinks.  You definitely have a knack for writing.  I'd be thrilled to see you follow through. and indulge your passion. I love that kind of stuff.

Put me down for five copies.

Only if it's the "Adventures of a Seeing Eye Cat" and its bumbling (kidding) handler.

Why not? Tom Clancy didn't start writing until later in his life. If you enjoy it go for it. Just keep food on the table and a roof over your head.

Fuck an A, pic.  I've been telling you for over a year to write a book.  Talk to Matt Bracken, author of Enenies Foreign and Domestic about getting that bad boy into print.

Writing isn't easy and it's probably the least efficient way of making money aside from recycling aluminum cans.  But you've had an interesting life and you're very funny.  I'd buy a copy.

Yep...you could start by printing out your arfcom posts.  Forgot what you told the kid to tell the teacher and  then went to the school to do his detention period.  LMAO.  Maybe that infobabe that you gave the 'story' to will by a copy .

If you do it for yourself, who cares if people buy it? Follow your dreams and they will take you places you could never have imagined. I just love a happy ending

I've been thinking about writing a book for a while now too.

Same as him, i just don't know if anyone would buy it, so why bother?

The "experience" maybe?

You should start writing books pic.

You have a great way with words and tell any story with a twist of humor.

I would buy a book you authored.

Please publish your stories.  With the net, you can get a great deal of word-of-mouth publicity.  I would eagerly purchase a copy.
