If I had one, I probably would have assembled it and test fired one 30 round mag for function at a buddies house but not yet had the chance to really check it out. Of course, that's **if** I had one... ;)

That would be me, too.

It's still at the 'smiths. Has it's balls reattached, just waiting until he can process my cc Monday and ship it. Should be good to go next weekend.

Me, the range is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

.. well the one that isn't an hour away is .. anyhow I was going to do it today but I am way behind for Mondays test so I'm about to sign off and continue reading

Just sighted mine in on Thursday.

I'm not paying $15/gun to shoot at a range filled to the gills with once a year hunters.

So, I had to wait for a friend with membership to get us in for free. We had the range all to ourselves.

I'm not even done CONVERTING my post-ban to a no-ban yet!

I'm pleased to report, though, that it already does violate the feature count restrictions of the assault weapons ban of 1994! The plain muzzle now sports an A2 flash hider. The final change, the exchange of the neutered sight tower for one with a bayonet lug on it, will be done in a few days, after we finish digging out from the hurricane that's about to hit.

I had the upper at the shop where I did the flash hider installation, and had intended to keep it there until all the work was done (and I'm the gunsmith in this case...), but with the storm coming I just put it back together with the neutered sight tower and took it home. I might need it!

Worst case scenario: Looters. Warnings. Shots fired. I hope I don't get to fire it under THOSE circumstances, but you never can predict the future.

Of the two that got new barrels one got sighted in yesterday, the other one either Sunday or Monday. So my answer is Yes and NO.
