Tec-9 for me...couldn't shoot straight to save my life with that gun!!! The biggest/only POS I have ever had. On the plus side it did have an evil high capacity clip

I had an old revolver. Wrorth nothing, wouldn't shoot, sometimes didn't fire. Got rid of it. Thank god.

Not so fast, try one out. Mine has about 1200 rds of wolf thru it, no jams. Pretty accurate too. |

Fortunately, none of them.
I did have one that had some teething problems at first, though. I bought a Smith and Wesson SW99 (walther p99 clone) in .40 S&W a couple of years ago, and it was problematic through the first couple hundred rounds. The problem was always failure to feed. FMJ rounds would just stop halfway up the feedramp. I finally took the Dremel tool and did a little polishing of the feedram and she works like a champ now. Reliability-wise, one of my M1 Carbines...replaced the ejector and extractor and it fixed right up tho.
Function-wise...a Cobray CM-11. The carbine version of their M11/9 pistol. Stupid thing would double/triple-tap if I pulled the trigger slowly...scared the hell out of me, quite frankly, as I am not in a CIII state and couldn't pass it off no matter what I would care to try in front of the po-po. |

For me an Oly XM-177 clone. It was actually a decent rifle, but it would pop off 2-3 rounds with one trigger pull every now and then, and I did not know enough about AR's yet to fix it......

Wilkinson Sherry .22 pistol. FTF and inaccurate. Funny though, my father was very accurate with it and it rarely jammed for him. Tiny piece to get your hands on. Planerench out.

I didnt own it, but it was this .22LR pump action rifle that jammed after 1 round(holds 15) so you ended up having to reload one bullet every time and pumping it.
I wanted to die. I make fun of the owner every time I see him now. |

OF all the guns I have none of them have problems working. I have a CZ52 that some might consider junk, I have a SWD M11/9 that I picked up recently, I have been told on this board that merely owning it gives gun owners a bad name, but it runs like a top. My kid brother has a collection of Ravens and Pheonix .25s that niether of us can get to work, but my wife can shoot them all day long and never have a failure.

Mossberg bolt action shotgun sawed off to 18.5. The sear pin was a little worn. It'd fire when the bolt closed. I traded it for a $50 gift certificate at a police "buy back".

M3 Grease gun. Actually it belonged to Uncle Sam, but I really couldn't believe what a pos it was.
a .22 revolver (generic) That thing will cut a piece of paper in half from shaved lead. It is more dangerous from the side, then the muzzle. |

Heh, doesn't suprise me.... Many years ago my father bought a .380 AMT backup.... What a piece of crap.. Not only was it just a piece of poorly made crap, the damn thing would fire if you pulled the trigger hard, with the safety ON Hated that stupid thing, cheap bastard, sheesh....... |

+1 and this shitty AR-15. Never had problems with guns until now. unless you count the SKS with the "tac-trigger". I put the gun down and the thing fired off a whole clip.  I hit the deck.

I was worried about picking up a CETME after reading several horror stories.
When I ended up ordering, I asked FAC to hand-pick a non-ground bolt, and decided to go with a Stainless Steel receiver. Several hundred rounds through it - no problems, flawless function, fun as hell to shoot. Very impressed with it. I couldn't be happier. Otherwise, no problems with any other firearms I've owned. Websites like this, and a little research tend to keep the POS purchases away. |

Lorcin 9mm pistol!! About halfway into the 3rd mag the slide seperates in two large parts. One goes flying in the air. Could have been real bad.

Charter Arms AR-7 .22 cal. rifle.
I don't think it ever shot a full mag without a jam and the shot spread was about 5 inches at 25 yards. |

1. Grendal .380. the trigger pin broke first time I shot it. Junk! Grendal fixed it, I sold it.
2. Had a Tec-9 that wouldn't feed. Did a partial trade for a Colt Sporter 9mm carbine back in the early 90's. I lost my ass on the trade but I guess I did good in the long run. Scott |

Damn, can't believe there's 2 carbines in this thread. I've never had any trouble with mine except for a bad mag.
The Lorcins I can see. I've got a .25 Taurus. When I did police work I used to carry it in my bag as a drop gun. I've got an break-open Iver Johnson .32 too, but it's old enough that I consider it a classic rather than a POS. |

My Colt SP1 is probably not, but my biggest POS was a Davis P.380. Every other round was a jam......I gave it away to a friend for a computer, best trade ever!

if she wants a bad gun just crush some cans, duct tape them together, and strap a rubber band on the contraption. Tell her that is the equivalent of what she wants. Dont forget to tell her that a different gun has more thrusts per squeeze anyways. |

I've had good luck so far. My former step-father was a fan of the Lorcin series, which eventually saved both our lives. When I was twelve he got drunk and decided he was going to kill me with his Lorcin .380. He racked the slide, pointed it at my face and pulled the trigger. Evidently a magazine problem prevented it from feeding. When I was fourteen he got drunk and beat up my mother. I decided I was going to shoot him with his Lorcin 9mm(he had been threatening my mother with it, and lost it in the struggle). I picked it up off the floor and attempted to chamber a round. When I released the slide the round became lodged between the feed ramp and the slide. In my state I was unable to clear it. It did make a decent club however, which I used to pistol-whip him until the police arrived. He survived, but had some pretty serious nerve damage in his face and a broken jaw.

About 15 years ago I got a Wyoming Arms .45ACP...Jammed every other round. Sent it to their shop in Thermopolis, Wyoming for repair. Still jammed. Traded it to a pawn shop. Went back into the pawn shop a week or so later only to be kicked out for trading a POS
Also had a POS: CETME Lorcin Walther P-22 (Finicky with ammo) Rossi .38 that was off time and shaved lead And probably others, but I can't remember |

Actually quite reliable the few times I fired it – but just on principle I have no use for zinc frames (which I didn’t know it had when I bought it). |
