With the recent "What have you done..." polls, I want to see who else here is of the elite.  Me? - '00 Blue Devils Prom King

<---voted "most likely to move to south america and never be heard from again" in college.

I'm intellectually elite, and clinically anti-social.

I beat up the prom king and took his lunch money.

I gave him ridiculously stupid answers when he cheated off me in algebra.

We didn't have prom kings or queens.

I didn't go anyway.  I was sitting around a roaring campfire in the mountains while the prom was going on, each year.

We did not go to the prom, which was pretty unusual for a bunch of atheltes who were pretty popular. My HS friends and I did defy many common trends though.

Class of 2006, so no prom yet. Even when I do have it, I will likely not be king, because I don't play football. Might run for queen, though, but I probably won't win that either on account of being neither cheerleader nor interior decorator.

Royalty by default is not.

None but,

I was voted "rebel without a cause."

I also got mentioned for having the best parties and the loudest car stereo.

Now, I'm the most educated of my class.

I was voted by my class to be most likely to be president of the NRA. :)

I spent the night of my senior prom at the reception station at Ft. Mclellan.

First of all, I should not even have looked in here since I am FAR from socially elite - but when the choices are friggin prom king/queen, dude, you got a LOT of living to do!  There is life after high school...

Nope. Never made a Prom.

Didn't help I went to the school where the "bad" kids (and pregnant girls) were banished to, by the time I was in 8th grade.

We didn't have a sports team either.

But we could earn smoke breaks if we were good.

Ha!  Losers.  Bet you guys suffered your share of wedgies.  I apologize if the pleasant memories that I have of high school bring back the bad ones for you.

I guess I wasn't the typical high school student.  I neither administered nor received any wedgies.  The best part of the prom for me was when it ended and we went to a real party.

Yo kid, not everyone who wasn't a football jock or  prom king got wedgies.   I was in the middle socially.  Not too popular, not to unpopular.  Overall, my highschool experience was quite forgettable.

Just remember, nothing you did in highschool counts for shit in the real world.  Coming to a forum populated by mostly adults that live in the real world and trying to be cool showing off your highschool acheivements is generally not a good idea.   Go acheive some things in the real world and get back to us.

I can't believe my intended lighthearted thread has come to this.  God forbid I ever or anyone else on this thread ever want to reminisce, I guess.

P.S.  I'm not a kid.  And for the record I took my shit and ran after 3 o'clock every day during school -  I was never on any team or in the band.  Why do I have to feel like I need to defend myself, this is retarded.

p.s.s.

+1.  Especially after wife + house.  But, I sorely miss the lack of responsibilities that came with childhood .
i.e. no job, bills, etc.

I think some of yall need to calm down a bit.

Me? I was in the middle. I was one of those guys that didnt look to make enemies and people that didnt like me generally stayed away from me because they knew I was not to be messed around with.

I had alot of friends in every social class, I didnt attend the prom mainly because I cant dance. But man I remember those days like they were yesterday. Hot tight assed Honey's galore. mmmmmmhmmmm.

the "junior prophecy" had me breaking a friend out of prison after being incarcerated for his prophecied act of annihilating the school. The school closed last year and the administrators are all out of work or retired.

Now I get people out of prison, but don't break them out, and he guards them while they're there.

short answer: negative

shiiiiiiit, i had all kinds of fun in HS, wish i could go back!!!!!

i was the "bad kid" that the snooty ass parents wouldnt let their little angels hang out with (which is funny as shit because most of those kids are jerry springer grade fucked up now)

runner up for being voted "wittiest"  (read:  smartass)  went to a jock though, go figure (i quit football my sophomore year as it was seriously cutting into beer time........)

and of course, deemed head redneck

BTW, in past arfcom threads it is my recollection that the majority of our membership HATED HS for some reason or another

That explains a lot.

Thanks for the insight, I'm glad there's someone else out there other than me.  I had a [cartman] kickass [/cartman] time as well.  So few reservations as a minor...
