A Discovery Channel documentary on U.S. Special Forces from the World of Valor series.

I have a copy lying around somewhere.  I didn't get a big part or anything but I could point myself out in 3 scenes.

ETA:  I was also interviewed by the BBC on a bit they were doing about gunshows in the U.S.

Was in DC during a live taping of the 700 Club in front of the Capitol Building.  I was standing about 20 yards behind Pat Robertson,  and I stood there until some camera crew guy yelled at me.  I tapped the re-run the next day, and sure enough, there was me standing there for about 30 seconds.

Movie and news.

Movie(s):  I was an extra in The Grass Harp (clearly visible several places, not just crowd scenes - but no lines ) and in Big Fish (even I cant find myself in it... ).

News:  I have been on local news and discussion programs (TV and radio) several times over the years related to Republican politics, gun issues, NRA fund-raisers, etc.

Do training video's count?  if so then yes, some movies.

I have been on TV a couple times.  Briefly during a 48 hours news show about women in Airborne training, they were filming with my Airborne training company.  And recently I was on “The Shooting Gallery” featuring some Portland based training.

I have been on the news several time in HS for various things. I was also in several very low budget movies that we made just after getting out of HS, which were shown at a local movie theatre.

Was behind 3'rd base dugout in Major League.

They shot it at old Milwaukee county stadium when I was in High school.

They shot the scene with that "Wild thing" song so many times...I heard it in my sleep for a week.

When i went to DefCon 98, they had several camera crews running around filming everyone. They filmed me playing UO on a laptop. Of course they talked about hacking the whole time on the show.

Got a lot of laughs from my friends from that

I did a billboard for my previous employer which was one of the big ones at the Ball Park in Arlington, and the year they shot The Rookie, you could clearly see my billboard in a couple of scenes behind Dennis Quaid. Being an artist it's just as cool to see your handywork on the bigscreen as seeing yourself.

If you look hard and know what I looked like 20 years ago, you might spot me in any of the following flicks:

Semi-Tough
Blowout
Atlantic City

After the second MOVE fiasco in Philly, I was interviewed on-air because the IACoP had recommended my Dad's business as a resource on police procedure ( I worked for him at the time). I spent three hours talking to reporters who wanted to hear us say the entire thing was the fault of the Philly PD. They didn't get the sound bite they wanted, but they still gave us about 5 minutes of airtime.

And back when I worked for ZD in NYC, I would talk to the folks at MSNBC about technology stuff. That was always a "hide if you see them coming" thing because they would suck up half a day for 10 seconds of airtime, and no one wanted to waste their time with them.

I was interviewed by CBS's 48 Hours news program in 1989. The interview lasted about 20-30 minutes but it was trimmed to about 3 minutes.

I guess that's my claim to fame on the national scene.

I have been on tv a number of other times since in different capacities, but only on the local level.

Not too long after 9/11, I appeared on the local news.  I was at the shooting range when a news crew shows up.  A reporter was doing a story about people arming themselves and obtaining concealed carry permits as a result of 9/11.  I was the only one at the range who would talk to the reporter.  After a few questions, he asked me if I wouldn't mind answering the same questions on camera.  Sure, why not?  It appeared on the newscast that night.  I still have it on tape somewhere.

The story turned out pretty good.  I just happened to bring photo copies of Osama Bin Laden's head with me to the range that day and had them stapled to the tops of body targets.  The story started with a close up of my target as I proceeded to fill it full of holes.

I was an extra (one of 350 or so) in the movie "Class", and my parent's house was in "Ordinary People", as well as my buddy and I in a crowd scene.

They parked the camera truck in our driveway (after getting Dad's OK)

We got to eat chili from their canteen truck, and watch them make the flick. Pretty cool.

My buddy (a major moviw freak) later became a cameraman for several years after that in SC.
