Just read the latest SWAT magazine (yeah, read some gun porn, but the pictures were boring) and they had an article about Mental Imagery Training.  Basically, it involves training your mind by living through imaginary scenarios to "gain" the experience.  You imagine yourself, in detail, in a gunfight to prepare yourself for a gunfight.  Some real Ninja stuff.  

I guess that means I really was being productive in school... and not just daydreaming.  

Well, I have to go "train" now.  Seriously, I will try it.

I am going to use it to prepare for a three gun match.  I am also interested in getting in books on Project Jedi from the 70s?, but the one book on it costs about $100 dollars.  I think it is out of print.

Aerobatic pilots do this.  They run through their routine on the ground, moving and orienting their body as they rehearse it mentally.
