I should have been out doing something productive, but instead, I was sitting here on ARFCOM, avoiding all the things I should be doing.
Suddenly, I heard a pop and then the sound of running water (like the faucet was running). I left the comfort of my home office chair to investigate. When I stepped into the kitchen, I noticed water pouring out from the cabinet underneath the sink. I quickly shut the water off, and discovered that one of the filter housings on our RO system had burst open. It was only a couple minutes between the breakage and the shut off, but there was water everywhere. Fortunately, I got it mopped up quickly. I shudder to think what my kitchen would look like now had I not been at home reading ARFCOM and heard the breakage occur. It would have been disasterous. Thanks ARFCOM, I owe ya one.

Your topic saved my kitchen. My brother was filling up the water bowl for my dog(3 gal.) and he walked away to fiddle with his new scope well I just saw your topic in my active topics. So I went to go tell my bro. ANd as I was walking by I noticed all th water from the over flowed bowl.
