I should have been out doing something productive, but instead, I was sitting here on ARFCOM, avoiding all the things I should be doing.
Suddenly, I heard a pop and then the sound of running water (like the faucet was running).
I left the comfort of my home office chair to investigate. When I stepped into the kitchen, I noticed water pouring out from the cabinet underneath the sink. I quickly shut the water off, and discovered that one of the filter housings on our RO system had burst open. It was only a couple minutes between the breakage and the shut off, but there was water everywhere. Fortunately, I got it mopped up quickly.
I shudder to think what my kitchen would look like now had I not been at home reading ARFCOM and heard the breakage occur. It would have been disasterous.
Thanks ARFCOM, I owe ya one.
