It seems like Cabelas has rifle rests anywhere from $30 to $190.

This one looks really nice, but is it really worth $190?

What do you use? What would you recommend I get?

I just use my arms in prone position and a US M1 sling.  I can get as good accuracy from my hunting rifle as I can with a benchrest, and I'm getting a zero in a position much more likely to be used while hunting.

Depends on the time & place:

Sandbags or shot bags

Backpack

Hat on top of a rock

Ass pack from your 782 gear or an A.L.I.C.E pack.  Spend your money on bullets, not BS.
