Fourth of July has a lot of local parades, patriotic events, etc. It's a holiday, so you won't have to be at work . . .
We should all "carry" on that day to show strength in numbers and to give the anti's a clue as to how pervasive gun ownership is.
Nothing particularly radical, just carry your gun where it's perfectly legal. Sling an unloaded AR over your shoulder, or strap on an unloaded 1911, (whatever) for open carry.
Unloaded guns are permitted as open carry most places.
You can carry the loaded gun CCW.
You might get a group together to carry arms in a parade. "XYZ City Gun Club" or "ABC City Vets of Foreign Wars" . . .
A rally in Washington DC seems like an obvious target. We should INSIST that the Capitol allow "free speech" and "the right to peaceably assemble" as provided by the "First," and "the right to keep and bear arms" as provided by the "Second."
We need to do this EVERY July 4th. Not just one July 4th. It's the perfect day for it.
