this question goes out to Vets...

I am trying to look up my grandfathers record. he was in the Marines during WWII and served in the pacific theater. he island hopped the whole time, he saw tarawa, iwo jima, the canal, etc etc.

I have his serial number, how do i get his service record from the marines? i have already sent a email to the marines and have not received a reply, its been 3 weeks.

any thoughts?     thanks
