Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't I seen this exact gun selling like hotcakes here on arfcom for $1035-1100?

Wait, it gets better!  There were 28 bids, AND THE SELLER HAS NO FEEDBACK RATING!

WHEE!

Well, damn, you can get an ArmaLite or a Bushy with all the same features for less than half that.  For that matter, you get could get one of each of those 2 superior brands (or 2 of 1 brand) and still have money left over.

I bet you can find either of those brands with LEO markings too and get them for the same as a non-LEO marked model of either brand.

ETA, I just went and looked at that.  What kind of FOOL pays that much for an LEO/NOBAN rifle?

LOL!  I was thinking of posting one of those "Hey, guys!  Did I get a good deal?" threads, with a link to the auction.

I might actually follow this auction to see if the transaction proceeds, and feedback is given.

I think we should all email the buyer and ask him what possessed him to pay 2 prices for that rifle.

edit: tried to send him an email through gunbroker, and couldn't. Poor guy.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were a couple of shill bidders involved there....

The Colt LEO/GOVT carbnes are the hot item right now. Colt is not going to offer them on the open market, and is imposing new restrictions on their LE distributers/dealers to avoid diversion of LEO guns to the commercial market.

The price is only going to go up.
