um, there are importers. EAA comes to mind right off the bat. Ask them how they do it.

ATF Form 6-Permit to Import is needed for magazines and barrels. Go towww.subguns.com click on Danbrew's link.

You only need a form 6 if the wholesale value PER TRANSACTION is $100 or more. How they would prove it was more if you had a "custom" reciept is beyond me. This is on the Form 6 instruction sheet.
