This site has many self-defense stories of mostly homeowners and business owners defending their, well, homes and businesses with firearms.

The one I like best is a recent case in Florida where four armed intruders crashed a poker party. The homeowner and his buddies at the poker table were also armed and opened fire on the intruders, killing one. The surviving invaders fled and were later captured. Neither the homeowner nor his friends were charged with anything.

Fascinating reading for those who are curious about how typical self-defense shootings occur. Needless to say, these are the types of stories the liberal media doesn't expend a lot of ink or air-time on.
