Well... if that's all you see it as, then you've never spent time meeting some of the people on here, talking with them on the phone, going out to get pizza with them, shooting with them, etc... And that's okay. Just don't apply your own attitude to everyone on here and expect everyone to have the same experience the same way that you do. |

I agree. Today unfortunately has been particularly depressing. Not only do we have so many bad stories in the news, but it seems the folks here are starting to turn on each other.
I sure hope tomorrow is better. If not I may have to take an absence from here for a few days and let all this stuff die down. |

No you didn't mention those in the first post. those are however things that would occour outside the board. I have done a few things with a few people here. but I catch too mcuh shit from people for stupid shit. I post pics of my Viper and get all kinds of BS emails and IM's. I post info about my house and get the same. People get all bent out of shape over silly crap. Like my reply above says. There are plenty of other things going on in the real world to be bummed about. I asked a simple question, but those who harbor resentment for reasons I won't go into...at least yet feel the need to flame or somethng. I really did want to know what he was bummin for. We got arbitrary censoship going on, we got all kinds of anger towrds the enemy, we got all kinds of infighting. What is he bummin about. Simple question. Quit taking it so personally, shit. |

Well... you should consider yourself quite naieve to what the Internet is if you believe that what happens on here or any other site is some sort of fantasyland that doesn't really exist.
Let me clue you in on something. I happen to personally know and consider myself friends with a few of the people involved here tonight on both sides of the equation. The words you read on a screen on this fantasyland website (that doesn't really exist) only got there because -- a real human being on the other end of the wire typed them. |

We gain realationships with fellow members and grow to enjoy talking with eachother. If you fell the way you do why do you spend so much time here and love to talk in the GD forum if it is just a "gun related threaded discussion group" then stay out of here and go talk about guns during your whole visit here. |

Ohh I'm sorry I missed it. Actually there are folks from all over the world, not just the US here. I enjoy the GD forum just as much as they next guy. But at the end of the day it is a private owned site. The CoC is the peoperty of GB and family. We have to abide by his rules. It does little good to get overly emotional here. it's not productive. A bunch of good people got emotional over the beheading and posted some rantings. That got them booted. Things escalated and even a good Staff Member resigned. People who have been friends and such ended up fighting. When you're friends with both sides, you hate to see it happening. That's why I was sad. |
